Now we are getting somewhere. I-40 runs through northern Arizona. This is the start of the most beautiful canyon lands in the USA. The red rock formations are indigenous to the Grand Canyon and the Oak Creek Canyon area above Sedona. While we are not visiting the Grand Canyon, this time, we have already been awe struck. Glad we are here before the main tourist season. One week may not be enough.
Sedona is a tourist trap with trinkets, T shirts and time share programs. We are at a nice park 20 miles south with very good WIFI. The only Thousand Trails park is completely booked for the next three weeks. Daily drive tours and shopping will consume our days. Down time, minor coach maintenance and planned home cooked meals are on our immediate radar.
